Beauty Review | Chanel Rouge Coco Shine

Last week I wrote a post on the new YSL Lipstick I got as part of my little lipstick shopping spree to spoil myself after a hard year. This Chanel gloss stick was also part of this haul. I wanted a soft balm type product, but not actually a balm or a gloss. I'd heard great things about the Rouge Coco Shine but upon buying the product, it exceeded my expectations.

I bought shade 74: Parfait, a soft light pink with a glistening finish. It doesn't add a great amount of colour as it isn't very pigmented but it does add a subtle sheen and glides on so easily. Apparently, it keeps your lips hydrated for 8 whole hours due to the Hydratender complex and although it feels super hydrating upon application, I'm yet to test it for that long! It's available in 18 shades and you can get one for yourself at Selfridges for £24.

It may seem silly, but just using the chic packaging makes me feel quite special as I love Chanel as a brand and the make-up range just feels so luxurious. If you prefer a natural look and like to feel that your lips are hydrated all day, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is definitely worth investing in. Below is a picture of the product when applied.

Have you tried any Chanel lipsticks? Which is your favourite?
